Ministry sees Russia’s 2018 grain harvest at 110.6 mln tns
MOSCOW, Dec 15 (PRIME) -- The Agriculture Ministry expects Russia’s grain harvest to reach 110.6 million tonnes in 2018, as seen by PRIME in materials of the ministry on Friday.
“We should take the high level of harvest of this year as a guidance, and we should harvest at least 100 million tonnes of grain next year,” Pyotr Chekmaryov, head of the ministry’s crop farming department, said during a conference commenting the materials.
The ministry also expects a harvest of 110 million tonnes of grain in 2019.
Russia’s 2017 grain harvest reached an all-time record of more than 130 million tonnes.
